Ownership and physical media is a real conundrum. Even if physical would grant an irrevocable license to the whole experience, would never rot/corrupt, we still face the issue of compatible playing devices not working anymore, which would render every collection obsolete. There is only one real solution, #DRM free digital. #gaming

I recently heard someone say that UHD Blurays would be vastly superior to #Apple streaming quality and thought they were exaggerating. I've now purchased my first UHD Bluray (Dune part two) and I'm compl. blown away by the difference. The bitrate seems to be a big differentiator.

#Steam Summer Sale haul.
Not a #Valve or #Steam fanboy, but calling fair pricing “crazy” is odd. Consoles sell at a loss, then recoup via subs and overpriced games.
Despite the price, the #SteamMachine will be a raging success and will be sold out for the rest of the year. Performance is not king, user experience is.
So the Masters of the Universe movie was not great. The best part was the humour, and the way the movie held a mirror up to our reality, showing that it is just as weird as Eternia, its inhabitants, and its rituals.
